Introducing our latest offering in high performance sport-jet model aircraft.  

At EA, we love creating new and innovative RC model aircraft. We continuously improve/grow our product line and implement the wealth of experiences we've attained along the way.  

Inspiration for the RAYZR came from modern day military stealth aircraft.  We mixed stealthy styling with classic sport jet features.  The design started as a hand sketch in 2018. In collaboration with our talented CAD designers and extremely skilled factory, we were able to bring our vision to life.

We designed the RAYZR with a one piece stab, a rear engine hatch, and a forward canopy hatch.  Some may recognize these features from our popular Shockwave model.  The separate canopy hatch is easier to manage when accessing your radio equipment and/or turbine electronics.  The engine bay is also the widest, most spacious compartment we have designed to date.  This large hatch area allows easy assembly and servicing.  We went for the simplicity of a single 6L fuel cell system and used large engine rails to create a versatile turbine mount that fits just about all turbine manufacturers.  The model's landing gear area and mounts are designed around the very popular/robust Electron ER50 landing gears.  The model has a two piece fuselage and breaks down with 4 bolts.  It can easily break down and fit in smaller vehicles for transport.  A clear canopy and cockpit for the RAYZR will be coming in the near future. 

The RAYZR shares the same airfoil as the BDX, which has proven to be very forgiving, high performing, extremely aerobatic, and a low stall speed aircraft.  Short takeoffs and landings are a breeze and it can be flown from just about any sized airfield.  Slow, nose high, wheelie landings are effortless. The RAYZR has a swept wing configuration that has an increased flight performance compared to similar sized models 

We chose the very popular 220n turbine size with a 2.3M wingspan X 2.65 length to start with.  This size model compliments the very popular turbine size of 180n to 220n and it's a great sized model with the perfect wing loading. 

It's weight is just under 17kg dry.  At this weight in conjunction with it's abundant wing area, it is a very lightly wing-loaded aircraft.  The RAYZR is capable of just about any aerobatic maneuvers and still performs wonderful in slow fight.  Check out the specs and photos below!

 Servo pockets are standard size 20mm x 40mm, so oversized servos will require some adjustment of pockets to fit.
